- The character’s name has long been referred to as “Ground Wolf” in English, though this is an incorrect translation. “Grand” is written as グランド (GURANDO) in katakana, while “ground” would be written with an extra “U” sound, like this: グラウンド (GURAUNDO)
- In Episode 38 of the 2013 animated series Beast Saga, the character Wolfen is shown using a laser rifle that was clearly inspired by Grand Wolf’s Death Hurricane Laser. The characters also share similar color schemes.
